20 | 6 | 2023

Olympians can apply for full scholarships for the Erasmus Mundus Master in Sport Ethics and Integrity (MAiSI) funded by the IOC Olympic Solidarity programme.

Successful applicants will study in multiple European locations while receiving a world-class two-year masters degree taught by six leading universities. The scholarship will cover all tuition fees and students will receive a generous travel grant and monthly stipend of €1000. For more information, including entry requirements, click here.

Alumni of the programme work in organisations such as the IOC, IPC, World Athletics, National Anti-Doping Organisations, National Olympic Committees, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Many go on to undertake full scholarship PhD programmes.

Joanna Maranhao OLY from Brazil says “MAiSi was a life changer for me, both in terms of academic skills and networking. I could finally find people committed to safeguarding (in sport), which is my area of expertise. Because of MAiSi, I was able to conduct a prevalence study on the extent of harassment and abuse against elite athletes in Brazil and I'm currently working in collaboration with the IOC as part of the working group on the 10 million per Olympic cycle to strengthen safeguarding measures.”
