Last Chance to Register for World Olympians Forum and General Assembly
21 | 9 | 2015
The deadline for registration for the inaugural World Olympians Forum [WOF] and the WOA General Assembly is TODAY. Don’t miss out on this chance for your NOA to attend and participate in this historic event which will take place in Moscow, Russia from 20 – 22 October 2015.
National Olympians Associations (NOAs) that have not yet registered but wish to do so are urged to sign-up as soon as possible as it will not be possible to register your NOA after today for logistical reasons.
NOA Presidents should register their NOA via this online form which will ask for details of the lead representative for the NOA. The lead representative must be nominated by the NOA President. Only the lead representative for each NOA will be able to vote at the General Assembly and to vote they must be an Olympian. All registrations will be verified before attendance can be confirmed by the WOA.
110 NOAs have now signed-up to take part in the WOF, which was established by the WOA in partnership with the Russian Olympic Committee and it has been confirmed that leading Olympic figures such as IOC President Thomas Bach and HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco will official open the event.
Join the discussion with fellow Olympians, representatives of the IOC and the Olympic Family, Governments and other key Olympic, sporting and non-governmental stakeholders to celebrate Olympism, share best practices and discuss the topics of greatest concern to Olympians.
Once registered and verified NOAs will be sent information by the Russian Olympic Committee WOF Organising Committee, who will provide details of an online system through which arrangements such as travel, accommodation and visas will be made.
