Join WOA’s OLY celebration in PyeongChang

Come celebrate good times, old friends and the Olympic spirit at WOA’s OLY party at PyeongChang 2018. All Olympians travelling to PyeongChang are invited to join a relaxed evening of music, food and chat taking place on 15 February 2018 in honour of Olympians and their role in society.

Taking place at Slovenia House, situated in the PyeongChang Mountain Cluster, WOA’s OLYmpian Party will bring together Olympians of all generations, nations and sports to reunite with friends and share their Olympic experiences, all within the unique surrounds of Korea’s Winter Games.

“Olympians will get to experience the warm hospitality of a Slovenian chalet in South Korea,” said six-time Slovenian Olympian and Olympic gold medal winning rower Iztok Cop OLY, who is looking forward to welcoming Olympians from all over the world to his NOC’s home away from home in PyeongChang.

The event forms part of WOA’s PyeongChang 2018 Olympians programme, which will see Olympians invited to attend a number of special events as well as take part in WOA’s popular ticketing programme, allowing Olympians to attend selected Olympic Games events for free.

WOA President, Joël Bouzou OLY, added: “The Olympic Games is a special time and we want to make it even more special for Olympians attending PyeongChang 2018, regardless of whether or not they are competing. By bringing together our Olympic alumni at the Games, Olympians will be united with their fellow Olympic athletes from around the world at the greatest sporting show on earth. ”
