Prince Albert II of Monaco helped launch the WOA new look and new website at the glittering WOA Cocktail in Sochi last night. WOA President Joël Bouzou was joined onstage by Prince Albert, former WOA President Pal Schmitt and IOC AC representative on the WOA Board Peter Tallberg as olympians.org went live to the world. The totally new website and new WOA logo were warmly welcomed by those in attendance at the Olympic Club in the Sochi Olympic Park.

"This new website and new look reflect the new dynamism of the WOA. With our stronger than ever relationship with the IOC and our growing investments in our National Olympians Associations we are now ready to take the WOA to the next level. And the website will help us do just that," said WOA President Joël Bouzou.

Prince Albert II of Monaco added: "The new WOA website is everything we had hoped it would be. A celebration of Olympians and Olympism and the great work that Olympians are doing around the world to spread Olympic values and help those in need in their communities."

The WOA cocktail was attended by IOC Members, Olympians and members of the Olympic Family. Among those there to enjoy the music of Doc Fingers and the elegant surroundings and warm ambiance of the Olympic Club were: IOC Athletes' Commission Chair Claudia Bokel; IOC AC immediate past chair Frank Fredericks; IOC Olympic Games Executive Director Christophe Dubi; Olympians Koji Murofushi and Donna de Varona; IOC Members Barry Maister and Tsunekazu Takeda; IOC TOP sponsor Dow and Rio 2016 sponsors EY and Bradesco.

The WOA's next event will be a lunch next Tuesday, also at the Olympic Club, where winter Olympians Pernilla Wiberg Bjerke and Shiva Keshavan will speak about the winter Olympians experience.
