In addition to the full scholarships, there will be 25%  scholarship offers available to Olympians who enroll in the programme.

The course is time-flexible, remote and designed to allow you to complete it at your own pace. It is available to Olympians at every stage of their careers, with intake options in September 2022 and February 2023. For more information about the course, including entry requirements, click here.

The scholarship initiative between WOA, World Academy of Sport and UoL has been a huge success over the previous two years. A total of 37 applicants enrolled into the programme in 2021 following on from the launch in 2020. Olympians who have completed the course in previous intakes have praised the scholarship through WOA for creating a new career path and learning new skills in the sports industry.

Simona Castro OLY said: “I am just really thankful for the opportunity to connect with this programme. I learned so much and gained such a holistic approach on the sports world and how we can have an impact on the future of sports.

“This programme has definitely traced a path for my upcoming endeavours, and I really hope that other athletes are able to take advantage of what they will learn from this programme. Thank you WOA and World Academy of Sport for making this programme accessible to athletes across the globe.”

David Guest OLY added: “When I saw the opportunity for the International Sports Management programme through the University of London that was targeted towards people in the same boat as me who wanted to get a better understanding of the administrative side of sport, I thought it was perfect for what I wanted to achieve.

“From doing the course, it has made me more well-rounded and has really laid the foundations for me to be able to launch into the administrative side of sport and to seek opportunities in that field.”
