WOA’s Olympian for Life awardee Simidele Adeagbo OLY has launched the second year of the Athlete Grant programme through her SimiSleighs Foundation.

The Athlete Grant is a one-year programme for female athletes who have established themselves in their chosen sports as Olympic or Paralympic athletes and hopefuls. It empowers female athletes from around the world by providing financial assistance of up to $10,000 USD for training and competition expenses, meaningful personal and professional development experiences and access to a global network.

The upcoming programme year starts this April and will run through March 2025.

Applications are open to female athletes training to represent their country at the Paris 2024 and Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic or Paralympic Games. Applicants must be fluent in English and at least 18 years old.
