The WOA has today launched a French language version of it’s website in a move that will showcase to more countries and territories around the world the work that Olympians are doing to spread the values of Olympism in their communities.

The French version of the website will have all of the features the users of the English site enjoy and will be followed by a Spanish language version in the coming months.

Speaking about the launch, WOA President, Joël Bouzou, said:

“We are delighted to launch a new version of our website in French – the other official language of the IOC along with English and the language of Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games. By creating a French version we are opening ourselves up to more nations and regions around the world, not only France but also other countries in Europe, Africa, and North and Latin America. This is a great opportunity for us to spread our message and highlight the fantastic things that Olympians are doing to serve their communities around the world.”
