Olympians in Slovenia and Papua New Guinea were reunited on Olympic Day during the first face-to-face OLY presentations since the pandemic began.
With COVID-19 measures relaxing in both countries, the Slovenian NOC’s General Assembly and OLY presentation took place in person in Ljubljana and the Papua New Guinea Olympians Association and Olympic Committee (PNGOC) also celebrated Olympic Day with a special reunion.
Petra Robnik OLY, Secretary of Slovenian Olympians Association said:
"Receiving the OLY certificate is a special honour for me and represents the years of hard work and dedication in Olympic sport, as well as promoting Olympic values. To be presented with the certificate in front of an audience at the NOC General Assembly is a privilege.
