Launch new projects with a $5,000 WOA Grant
1 | 2 | 2021
Apply now for a WOA Service to Olympians or WOA Service to Society Grant and you could receive $5,000 support from WOA.
If you have an idea for a project that would make a positive impact in your community or offer new opportunities to your fellow Olympians, we want to hear from you. Olympians around the world are already using their WOA Grants to lead projects that inspire physical activity, promote sustainability, teach new skills, organise reunions, celebrate iconic Olympic moments and more. All ideas are welcome.
All ideas must be submitted via your National Olympians Association by 31 March 2021 at 1700 Lausanne time (CET). Applications will be judged according to how easily they can be implemented in the current uncertain and changing Covid-19 world.
Ramon Ayala OLY, President of the Puerto Rico NOA and 2020 WOA Service to Olympian Grant recipient, said:
“The financial support provided by our WOA Service to Olympians Grant meant we were able to launch a webinar series, a new website and offer new education opportunities. Apply now to change the lives of your fellow Olympians.”
Stavroula Kozompoli OLY, President of the Hellenic Olympians Association and 2020 WOA Service to Society Grant recipient, said:
“Our Olympic Green Values programme was made possible with support from our WOA Service to Society Grant and now we’re promoting sustainable practices and teaching the importance of protecting the environment in our local communities. It has been a fantastic opportunity and I encourage you to apply now.”
