Full scholarships awarded to four Olympians

Four Olympians have been awarded the postgraduate scholarship offered by World Academy of Sport and World Olympians Association. They will begin the University of London’s International Sports Management programme in the academic year 2022/23.

The WOA full scholarship recipients are:

• Yazan Al Bawwab OLY – Palestine, Swimming
• Michelle Sinaida Aura OLY – Kenya, Rugby
• Luisana Perez Soto OLY – Venezuela, Table Tennis
• Cyrille Tchatchet II OLY – Refugee Olympic Team, Weightlifting

"I have been training and competing in sport for more than 12 years, which means I have been at the receiving end of sport administration and development. I believe that these modules will not only help me personally as I continue my sports career, but will also equip me with the knowledge and skills needed to support athletes in general and refugee athletes in particular as they need to work even harder to secure a sponsorship.” - Cyrille Tchatchet II OLY

The postgraduate certificate in International Sport Management programme is delivered online in English and can be completed at your own pace.
