More than 225 Olympians, their families and friends came to OLY House to watch the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony on the big screen and in the Grand Salon. And online over 200 Olympians were in e-OLY House during the Opening Ceremony.

The celebrations at OLY House began hours before the Opening Ceremony started as Olympians enjoyed each other’s company and the free food and drink.

After signing the Olympians signing wall and taking a selfie with the Olympic Torch, the Olympians settled down outside in the Garden and inside in the Grand Salon. Luckily, the big marquee in the garden saved those outside from the rain.

Once the Opening Ceremony began the fun really got going. As the boat of their country went by Olympians would grab the Olympic torch and run around the Grand Salon, waving the torch about as the rest of the Olympians clapped and cheered. The Games truly bring people together from all over the world.

OLY House Paris 2024 @ Caisse d’Epargne, the Olympians’ home from home at the Games, is open every day from 11 am to 11 pm. And e-OLY House, the Olympian’s home at home during the Games is open online 24/7. Find out about everything that’s going on here.
