Olympians in Milan send inspiring words to Children’s Hospital
22 | 2 | 2026
Olympians who came to the OLY House Hub during Milano-Cortina 2026 all wrote encouraging words on a big poster which will be put on display after the Games at a hospital for children in Milan.
The initiative came about because the venue for the OLY House Hub at the Monumentale Station was generously provided to the WOA by the M5 Metro Line, the sports line. And M5, as part of its community outreach, supports the Vittore Buzzi Children’s Hospital which is at the Gerusalemme Metro Station on the M5 line.
These are some of the words of encouragement, which were in 14 languages.
“Siempre Fuertes” (always strong)
“Dream Big”
“We are cheering for you”
“The Olympic Spirit is with you all”
“You are the architect of your destiny”
“Ciao a tutti. i ragazzi/e, mai mollare. un abbraccio” (Hello, everyone. Never give up guys. Hugs).
There will be a special unveiling ceremony involving Metro 5, the WOA and the Hospital in one of the wards after the Games.
A huge thanks to all the Olympians who took part.
