Arrivederci da OLY House Hub Milano e un grande grazie
22 | 2 | 2026
We hope you all had a great time either in Italy or at home watching the Games. We really enjoyed it here at the OLY House Hub, in Cortina and at Casa Corona.
You made the Games special for us so thank you to all of you who came here or took part in the Games with us online.
And in particular.
Thank you to everyone who came to the OLY House Hub in Milan and chatted with us and told us about your Olympic journeys and the finer points of your sports. We now understand the nuances of the chess on ice sport of Curling, the scoring system of Figure Skating and the different ways Olympians prepare mentally before performing at the highest level.
Thanks to those who signed the Olympians Wall and took Selfies with the Torch here at the Hub.
And we had a huge response to our AI powered online Olympic Torch selfie offer which turned a normal photo into a photo of the Olympian holding the Milano Cortina Olympic Torch. The thank-you emails have been heartwarming. Here are just three of them. “You made my day”, “Wow, many thanks, that brought a tear to my eye” and “This is perfect, thanks so much.” We will definitely do this again in LA.
And a big shout out to those who wrote inspiring messages on the poster which is being donated to the Vittore Buzzi Children’s Hospital in Milan, who are supported by our kind hosts here in Milan at the Monumentale metro station, the M5 Metro line.
We had so much fun with those who came to the Opening Ceremony Party at Casa Corona and the WOA Party in the Mountains at Slovenia House Cortina, thanks to the Slovenia NOC and NOA. Good food, good drink, good people and good times.
There were 30 OLY@8 shows hosted by our own Development Officer Sandrine Billiet OLY. We learned so much and were inspired by her Olympian guests on each show. So thank you to all those who took part and those who watched in on the e-OLY House Spatial chat platform.
Over 670 Olympians have left their mark online so far on Leave Your Mark and will receive their exclusive Olympians-only commemorative poster after the Games which has the design made up from all the signatures of the Olympians who took part. It’s not too late for you to join in HERE.
So thanks again to you all. Or as we’ve learned to say: grazie mille a tutti voi. See you in two years in LA if not before. Ciao.
