New Athlete Learning Gateway course will help you be your own boss

The Athlete Learning Gateway is inviting Olympians to join its new course, Business Start-Up: From Idea to Launch, which has just launched on the free, online learning portal.
Led by expert businesswoman and professor, Lisa Delphy Neirotti along with double Olympic swimming champion Kirsty Coventry (Zimbabwe) and Rio 2016 mountain biker Lea Davison (United States), Olympians will learn how to take a business idea and turn it into reality.
The course covers everything you need from getting started, to testing and launching your idea and finally how to secure funding and investment.
As an Olympian you already have many of the key skills it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. This course will help you pave the way to be your own boss and set you up for victory in the world of business.

The Athlete Learning Gateway has more than 20 free short courses, from nutrition and preventing injury to building your brand and career transition. In 2016, over 5,640 new users joined the Athlete Learning Gateway, which now has more than 16,100 athletes, coaches and members of the entourage making the most of this great development tool.
