Calling all Olympians: Nominate the coach in your life

Olympians, you have until 15 September 2017 to get nominations in for the new IOC Coaches Lifetime Achievement Awards.

The awards, which were launched by the IOC earlier this year, will honour retired coaches who have made an outstanding contribution to the lives of Olympians and the Olympic Movement.

Awards will be handed out at the IOC Women and Sport Gala on 9 November 2017 to one female and one male former coach who have participated in at least one edition of the Olympic Games.

Coaches play a significant role in the development and success of athletes both on and off the field of play. This award presents a fantastic opportunity to give the coach that has made a lasting impact on your career the recognition they deserve.

If you want to nominate your coach please view the eligibility criteria, complete the nomination form and submit any supporting documentation on the Olympic Athletes’ Hub no later than Friday 15 September 2017.
