Olympians looking to transition into the world of sport business are invited to apply for the AISTS Athlete Scholarship.
The AISTS Athlete Scholarship has been helping former and current elite athletes, who have competed at an international level, transfer their skills to a second career for over seven years.
The AISTS Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology is a unique 15-month international postgraduate programme in sports management, endorsed by the International Olympic Committee, and located in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Each year it attracts aspiring sports managers from all over the world and from all walks of life to take part in its internationally recognised programme. Graduates of the programme go on to work in international sport federations, governing bodies, organising committees as well as various sport-related organisations throughout the world.
Olympians who have received their degree from the AISTS in the past include Elizaveta Bracht-Tishchenko OLY, Russian Volleyball double Olympic medallist, Wilson Kipketer, Track and Field double Olympic medallist from Denmark, So Hee Kim, short track speed skater double Olympic medallist form South Korea and Toni Wilhelm OLY, three time Olympian windsurfer from Germany, to name a few.
Applications are open until 1st September 2019, with the program commencing in September 2020. The AISTS Athlete Scholarship contributes up to 50% of the tuition fee each year.
