The World Olympians Forum (WOF) will kick off this weekend, taking place physically in Istanbul and live-streamed online on the newly created e-WOF. Over 150 Olympians from WOA member organisations will meet in Istanbul for the third World Olympians Forum. NOA members that are not able to attend in person are able to join the e-WOF and participate online.
The e-WOF will showcase the official opening graced by the Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu along with WOA President Joel Bouzou OLY, WOA Patron HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco OLY and WOA Honorary President and IOC President Thomas Bach OLY. There will be workshop sessions led by world leading experts and NOAs will share their best practices and contribute to strengthening the Olympian networks across the globe.
WOA President Joel Bouzou OLY said: “This will be the best World Olympians Forum yet. We are excited to welcome our members from all over the world to the beautiful city of Istanbul. They will make great connections and exchange ideas that will help them contribute to their societies and fellow Olympians back home. For Olympians that are not able to join us in person, we hope they are able to join us online in the e-WOF.”
The WOA Executive Committee will hold their annual in-person meeting prior to the WOF.
