Ensuring Continuity for the Global Olympian Community

The WOA took note of the IOC's notification of termination of the Agreement signed between the WOA and the IOC in September 2025. The WOA accepts that the IOC uses a right both parties of the Agreement have. There is no need to give any reason for termination.

The WOA expressed its willingness to support the IOC in the engagement process with the Olympian community so that a best possible respect of the initiatives the WOA and its constituencies, the NOAs, could realise and uphold in thirty years since their foundation, will be given. The WOA proposed to the IOC to jointly set up an Olympian Community Liaison Group for elaborating all necessary details for a splendid future for the Olympians and their NOAs.
