Applications are now open for the 2026 World Olympians Association (WOA) Scholarship Programme, providing Olympians with the opportunity to undertake the Postgraduate Certificate in International Sports Management online through the prestigious University of London.

WOA is offering two full scholarships to Olympians from around the world, together with two 50% scholarships & thirty 25% Scholarships, enabling more members of the Olympian community to gain a globally recognised postgraduate qualification while balancing their sporting, professional and personal commitments.

Delivered fully online, the programme is flexible and designed to fit around the busy schedules of elite athletes. Participants can study from anywhere in the world and progress at a pace that suits their individual circumstances.

Developed in partnership with the World Academy of Sport (WAoS) and the University of London, the programme equips Olympians with the knowledge and practical skills required to pursue leadership and management careers across the global sport industry. Subjects include sport governance, leadership, marketing, finance, strategy, integrity, and the business of international sport.

Since the scholarship programme was established in 2020, more than 70 Olympians have successfully completed the qualification, with many progressing into leadership roles within sport organisations, National Olympic Committees, International Federations, and the wider sport industry.

The next intake for the programme commences in September 2026.
